Grand Traverse County Health Department is located in Traverse City Michigan. The county itself has nearing 92,000 locals and 3.3 million travelers in the summer months. Although the Health Department does not serve all of the residents and visitors, it always has the potential to do so. They have a wide variety of programs including Environmental Health, Animal Control, Communicable Disease, Reproductive Health, Immunizations, WIC, Children’s Special Healthcare Services, Maternal Infant Health, Emergency Management and more. Through these diverse programs, the Health Department hopes to help county residents and visitors healthy throughout the year.
